Kishima-dake offers a breathtaking view of the Kusasenri grasslands and other scenic spots around Mount Aso. A 30-minute trek from the Kusasenri parking lot will take you to the summit. While the trail is not as challenging as a full-scale mountain climb, the steep slopes require a good amount of physical effort. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, such as sneakers! From the summit, a short walk will lead you to a viewpoint where you can see the iconic Komezuka. This is a must-visit spot to include in your Aso sightseeing itinerary!
