The Adorable Mount Komezuka of Aso Volcano Group

Upon arriving at the Aso Volcano Group, my eyes were immediately drawn to the charmingly rounded Mount Komezuka. Known as the "Dimple of Aso," its summit features a concave shape resembling a gently pressed green mochi. Standing at approximately 100 meters tall, this petite mountain is quite approachable. Gazing from the grasslands, the blue sky, white clouds, and the soft contours of the mountain create an incredibly soothing scene ☁️🌿. Although climbing to the summit of Mount Komezuka is currently prohibited, walking along the surrounding trails still allows you to experience the gentle volcanic terrain up close. During autumn and winter, the grass takes on a deeper hue, complemented by the crisp air, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll, photography, and relaxation.
