Bangkok and Pattaya Budget Trip: 6 Days and 5 Nights Solo Travel for 2159 HKD.

Scored a round-trip ticket to Bangkok for 799 HKD including taxes and checked baggage. 1. If you take the noon flight, you can see the Mekong River from the plane. Upon landing in Bangkok, take a luxurious business bus to Pattaya for 190 THB. 2. Spent 800 HKD for 3 nights in a sea-view room at Balihai Bay Residence Pattaya. It's an 8-minute walk to the bar street where I had an Indian meal. 3. The hotel is close to the pier, so I walked and took a 20 THB ferry to Koh Larn. Upon arrival, I took a 30 THB minibus to Samae Beach. The return trip cost 30 THB + 20 THB back to Pattaya. 4. Took a tourist bus from Pattaya to Bangkok for 200 THB + 40 THB BTS fare. Stayed at Bangkok City Link Hotel for 560 HKD for 2 nights in a deluxe room with a balcony. 5. Walked to the pier near Pratunam and took a 16 THB boat to the Grand Palace (15-minute walk from the last stop). After sightseeing, took a 14 THB boat to ICONSIAM, then called a motorcycle taxi for 76 THB back to Pratunam. 6. Returned to Hong Kong from Bangkok. The hotel is a 7-minute walk to the Airport Rail Link station, then a 20-minute ride to the airport. It rained heavily during this time, and the return flight was delayed by 4 hours. This solo trip was incredibly cheap, mainly using public transport and walking. I had food and fun with low expenses. Traveling alone meant no pressure, but I couldn't order too much food at meals, as I couldn't finish it all.
