Gaudi’s Great work

#celebratewithtrip One of his lesser known famous works, Gaudi’s Palau Guell often goes unnoticed by tourists despite its central location on Nou de La Rambla, just off Las Ramblas itself. Palau Guell is open to the public and makes for interesting viewing. You may also now access the palace’s rooftop with Señor Gaudi’s trademark chimneys, decorated with bits of broken tiles and pottery using his favoured trencadis technique. The Palau may be less of a crowd puller than the architect’s more ostentatious works, but that hasn’t stopped it being listed amongst his seven buildings that share the UNESCO stamp of approval.
