The Great Wall!!!

I visited the Great Wall again! If you ask, it's just a matter of counting the trips, over twenty thousand steps.||| The high-speed train arrives at Badaling Great Wall Station at 7 am, thinking it's quite early, but stepping out I found tourist buses lined up in rows, and travel groups assembling like an army. The Great Wall seems to be bustling no matter when you visit, which is good since it's a historical symbol of Beijing and China🇨🇳. I've been to the northern part of the city twice before, and seeing the dense crowds there, this time I chose the southern Great Wall, hoping for a different experience. Indeed, the southern Great Wall is quite different; it's quieter, allowing you to stop and enjoy the view and take photos at any time without worrying about the surrounding crowds, suitable for a leisurely mood to slowly climb and appreciate the scenery. The Hero's Stele, with just a bit of enthusiasm, and following the principle of 'I take photos for others, and others take photos for me,' you can see a young man taking pictures for an elderly couple, for girls, for families, for those who are too shy to ask but don't want to regret missing a photo, and for those queuing up asking for help with photos. Imagine the scene; it's quite fun. To sum up my three experiences of being a 'hero' at Badaling Great Wall, I hope to have the chance to check in at Mutianyu or other cities' Great Walls next time. Transportation No.1 Take the subway line 13 to Huoying Station, walk about 1 kilometer to Huangtudian Railway Station, then take the S2 suburban railway to Badaling Station, which takes about 1 hour. The train service is limited, so plan your trip well to connect with the train times, and the trains have large windows for enjoying the scenery along the way. No.2 Take a taxi, which costs about 150 yuan or more from the Wudaokou area, suitable for group travel, when you're in a hurry and can't get a high-speed train ticket, or to avoid the strong sun in summer. No.3 Take the high-speed train from Qinghe Station or Beijing North Station directly to Badaling Great Wall Station. The train service is limited and tickets are hard to get. The journey takes about 20 minutes and costs 18 yuan, focusing on speed. Pay special attention that the return trip stops checking tickets 13 minutes early!!! I took bus 877 for all three return trips, which runs between Deshengmen and Badaling Great Wall Station, costs 6 yuan, and takes about an hour and a half. It's quite suitable for a sleepy ride on the bus after a tiring day, shaking all the way to the Second Ring Road area to find something to eat. Sightseeing The southern Great Wall has only four towers, a short route, and it takes less than an hour to walk and take photos along the way. The return trip takes less than 20 minutes, and there are two slopes without steps that are quite difficult to climb, overall more suitable for the elderly and children with mobility difficulties. The key is that there are very few people, and you can get good photos at the last section, recommended for those who want to avoid crowds when taking photos. The northern Great Wall, which I have already visited twice, allows you to fully experience the grandeur of the Great Wall atop the mountains, with plenty of scenery and people. It takes about three hours for young people to go up, come down, and take photos.
