Yanqi Lake, a great place for oxygenation on the outskirts of Beijing

Yanqi Lake Scenic Area. Located 8 kilometers north of Huairou District in the suburbs of Beijing, at the foot of the Yanshan Mountains, Yanqi Lake is a water and land area centered around the lake, with picturesque scenery and clear waters. Every year during the spring and autumn seasons, flocks of wild geese often come to rest on the lake, hence the name. The scenic area is mainly divided into several parts: the first is the core area, namely the Yanqi Island (Yanqi Peninsula) Conference Center and its supporting facilities (Summer Garden, Yanqi Island Hotel, and villa complex), the second is the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center on the shore and the accompanying Beijing Sunrise East Kempinski Hotel (part of the Yanqi Lake International Conference City), the third is the natural landscape belt on the lake surface, the fourth is various recreational areas, and the fifth is the lake district style street and nearby towns.
