Wow! The free observation deck at Fengtai Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park in Beijing is no longer a secret! I've always loved this park, especially the beautiful Forest Book House Coffee inside. This summer, the observation deck opened and the park instantly became popular! Every evening, it's full of people watching the sunset. Although it's crowded, the view is absolutely stunning! There's the Olympic Forest Park in the north and Nanyuan Forest Park in the south. The observation deck at Nanyuan Forest Park is amazing! Here, you can watch the sunset, see the China Zun CBD, and even the Beijing TV Tower. Apart from the crowds, it's perfect! After entering the park, follow the signs to "Feiyan Terrace" (the observation deck) and make a simple reservation at the entrance. The observation deck is on a small hill. The hill isn't high, so it's easy for the elderly and children to climb, and it's no problem to push a stroller. Tips: It's best to arrive 2 hours before sunset and find a good spot to enjoy the view. It's especially crowded on weekends. The closer it is to sunset, the more people there are, so be careful!
