One-day Tour to Phoenix Mountain

Phoenix Mountain, formerly known as Dragon Mountain and Helong Mountain, is located in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. It is a national-level forest park and a national AAAA-rated scenic area, with the highest peak reaching an altitude of 660 meters. The Phoenix Mountain tourist area in Chaoyang City is located in the eastern part of Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, adjacent to the central urban area. Covering an area of 67.84 square kilometers, it extends to the Fenghuang Mountain East Foothill Village Town Road in the east, Sunjiawan in the south, Lingfeng Street Huan Cheng East Road in the west, and Changbaoyingzi in the north, enclosed by a ring road around the mountain. It integrates natural landscapes with cultural relics, historical sites, and human landscapes. Phoenix Mountain is a famous mountain in western Liaoning and a renowned tourist attraction in Chaoyang City. Within the mountain, there are three ancient pagodas: 'Lingxiao Pagoda,' 'Moyun Pagoda,' and 'Dabao Pagoda,' as well as four temples: 'Yanshou Temple,' 'Tianqing Temple,' 'Yunjie Temple,' and 'Huayan Temple.' Phoenix Mountain also enshrines the true body relics of Sakyamuni Buddha and Dingguang Buddha, which were unearthed from the North Pagoda and South Pagoda of Chaoyang, respectively. The coexistence of the relics of the two Buddhas on the same mountain makes the Buddhist holy land of Phoenix Mountain even more sacred and spiritually radiant. The small waterfall, although not natural, is still quite nice. The small cave that leads through Jixiang Lake is very cool, and it's especially beautiful for taking pictures, especially when you go out of the cave to view the scenery, which suddenly becomes bright and open, with all the beautiful views coming into sight! The path to the lower temple, with the water from the small waterfall flowing down, is exceptionally beautiful and also very cool.
