Dongjiang Lake Tourist Area is the only 5A scenic spot in Chenzhou

The total area of Dongjiang Lake is 160 square kilometers, with an average water depth of 51 meters and the deepest point reaching 157 meters. Due to the depth of the water body, the water storage capacity is quite large, reaching 8.12 billion cubic meters, which is equivalent to half of Dongting Lake, hence it is known as 'South Hunan'. 'Dongting' is an artificial lake in our province. The great Chinese thinker Confucius once said: 'Benevolent people love mountains, wise people love water'. Dongjiang Lake combines the beauty of mountains and the charm of water, integrating the beauty, history, and civilization of the south. It is known as the 'Fairy Lake on Earth'. Dongjiang Lake is vast, where water and sky meet, with green mountains and clear waters, and beautiful scenery, characterized by 'beauty, strangeness, seclusion, and interest'.
