Wat Saen Fang

It is a temple with a complex history dating back centuries. The most important buildings and structures are Wihan Lai Kham, which was the former residence of King Kawilorot Suriyawong. The temple is in the Lanna art style, with a low and low roof,decorated with carved wood patterns and gilded stucco. The gable is decorated with carved wood in the from of curled stems and mythical animals and interior decorations. The temple also has walls full of paintings about various events of the Lord Buddha and other Buddhist arts, Phra Chedi Mongkhon Saen Mahachai, which is similar to the shwedagon pagoda in Burma. The bell is decorated with colored tiles in floral patterns, graceful and very beautiful. There are also many other architectural styles to see.
