A day trip to Qiandao Lake with a city walk! Enjoy the scenery and take care of your stomach!

A trip to Qiandao Lake isn't complete without both beautiful scenery and delicious food. This itinerary makes for a very comfortable day. 🌅Morning: Tianyu Viewing Platform You can take the escalator up the mountain, which isn't too strenuous. From the top, you can see a panoramic view of Qiandao Lake. The small islands in the lake look like matcha cakes scattered on the water, making for great photos. 🍡Noon: Qilong Lane After coming down from the viewing platform, you can stroll along this charming little street with its mountain town atmosphere. I recommend "My Sister's House" to try the bean curd rolls and tofu buns—refreshing and not greasy, and reasonably priced. After eating, you can walk along the steps and take some photos. 🐟Evening: Fish Feast Restaurant Dinner should be a proper fish meal. This local old restaurant is a safe bet. We ordered: ✔️Fisherman's Clam Meat The clam meat was cleaned thoroughly and cooked with simple seasonings. It was tender, and the soup was delicious. ✔️Braised Fish Head The fish was cooked until flavorful, not fishy or greasy, and very satisfying. After a day like this, both my eyes and stomach were satisfied. ✌️ A hidden gem travel destination worth visiting again and again.
