This winter, I finally realized my travel plans for Qiqihar and Jagdaqi ❄️ All the way north, seeing snow, cranes, and pines, every frame was incredibly beautiful! 🌨️Itinerary Highlights DAY 1: Zhalong National Nature Reserve - Qiqihar City 📍Zhalong Wetland: The world's largest breeding ground for red-crowned cranes. I finally saw the 'crane among chickens' from my textbooks! It's recommended to go between 9-10 AM to see the crane release performance. (Address: Zhalong Township, Tiefeng District, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province) DAY 2: Jagdaqi Beishan Forest Park 📍Beishan Forest Park: In Oroqen, it means 'a place with Scots pines'. The snow-covered pines here are absolutely dreamy! The park is free to enter, and you can spend a whole day taking stunning snow photos. (Address: Jagdaqi District, Daxing'anling Prefecture) 💡Travel Tips ✨The best time to see red-crowned cranes is in the morning; the moment they take flight is incredibly spectacular. ✨December to February offers the most beautiful snowscapes, but temperatures can drop to -30℃, so remember to wear your thickest down jacket. ✨There are electric carts within Zhalong Wetland, but some areas may be closed during the snowy season, so check opening conditions in advance. ✨Jagdaqi Airport has direct flights to Harbin. It's recommended to stay one night to experience the charm of the small town. 🍲Food Recommendations ✅Qiqihar BBQ: A local specialty, the charcoal-grilled meat is exceptionally fragrant. ✅Guobaorou (Sweet and Sour Pork): A must-try in Northeast China, the sweet and sour flavor is very appetizing. ✅Iron Pot Stew: A group of people gathers around a large pot to eat, warming both body and heart. 🏨Accommodation Suggestions ✔️In Qiqihar, it's recommended to stay in Longsha District, close to Zhalong Wetland. ✔️In Jagdaqi, it's recommended to stay near Beishan for easy access to see rime in the morning.
