Minalungao National Park is a protected area of the Philippines located in the municipality of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, near its Boundary with Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan. The park covers an area of 2,018 hectares[1] centered along the scenic Peñaranda River bordered on both sides by up to 16-meter high limestone walls in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range

#fallingforfall I’ve been visiting my father’s hometown in Nueva Ecija since I was a child every year but it was only a few years ago that I discovered this hidden gem, which is just a few minutes drive in a nearby town. The Minalungao National Park offers unique towering rock formations. green pristine river as well as a serene atmosphere. It under the government’s protection as it is considered to be one of the few remaining natural environments in the north region. High limestones are on both sides of the river adding to its charm and there are caves around the area. One can go swimming, hiking, fishing, raft riding, cliff diving or even just have a picnic for a more enjoyable visit in Minalungao. 😊🍂 #wanderingme #ijustwander #itsmorefuninthephilippines
