Traveling south along the Liuge Expressway from Dunhuang, I stepped into the mysterious Qinghai for the first time in my life, and checked in the treasure salt lake group located in Chaidan Town, Haixi Prefecture - Emerald Lake. Due to the difference in mineral content, each salt lake presents different colors. Riding on the small train to the depths, you can feel the staggered changes of colors such as emerald green, glazed yellow, amber white, mint blue, and matcha green along the way. In the evening, the red glow on the horizon gradually appeared, and the sunset clouds over the mountain injected vigorous vitality into the originally fresh and quiet scene. Travel tips💡: ① Due to the inconvenient transportation in Chaidan Town, it is recommended to drive by yourself; secondly, there are daily Dunhuang to Golmud passing buses stopping at Dachaidan Bus Station. ② The color of Emerald Lake is more vivid in sunny weather. Most of the online thunder posts are due to encountering rainy days; so be sure to check the weather before playing, pay attention to wind protection and sun protection. ③ If conditions permit, it is strongly recommended to use drone aerial photography. There are rental services in the scenic area, and you can see a more comprehensive and shocking landscape, and the experience is greatly improved.
