This walking route worth n times of revisiting hides half of the old Hangzhou history

Visiting Hangzhou is not only about touring the West Lake, but you can also stroll through the old streets of Hangzhou. The city walk route I'm sharing today conceals half of Hangzhou's history, taking three to four hours to complete on foot. It allows you to experience the leisurely life of the old Hangzhou residents and to check in for an elegant walk with the charm of the Southern Song Dynasty. 【My Route🚶‍♀️】 Drum Tower—Southern Song Study—Dajing Lane—Huan Cui Building—Wu Mountain—Hangzhou Museum 1⃣️Drum Tower🏭 Here you can find the Drum Tower cultural district, Southern Song Study, a Christian church⛪️, and along the old streets and alleys, you can feel a different kind of livelihood in Hangzhou. 2⃣️Dajing Lane🏘 A small alley filled with various quaint and atmospheric coffee shops☕️ and restaurants, with lush green trees and vibrant greenery, very suitable for enjoying tea and scenery. 3⃣️Huan Cui Building As the name suggests, a pavilion surrounded by greenery, serene and elegant, also featuring a novel handicraft market🪆. 4⃣️Wu Mountain🌲 Navigate to Wu Mountain Jiyi Pavilion, where you can see a tropical rainforest-like 🌲 canopy of greenery, and the distant City God Pavilion, which is very impressive. Navigate to the White Snake's Flight, which is an extra stretch of green-shaded winding path🍃. 5⃣️Hangzhou Museum🍶 A comprehensive humanities museum that reflects the historical changes of Hangzhou, where you can also get a retro souvenir ticket stub. The entire route has both the bustling city life and the quiet and elegant secret spots, with towering ancient trees🌲 and lush greenery along the way. This hike was organized by the 4th Hangzhou Citizens' Day City Walk event, and we were even invited to stroll with Director Jiang Qingqing, an expert in Southern Song Dynasty history! Strolling and learning about culture at the same time is just too wonderful～
