Hannover | Tasty traditional German restaurant in Hannover

The owner seemed quite friendly, and the restaurant only accepted cash, giving it a traditional vibe. German and Chinese meat-eating habits have some similarities, and Germany's pork chops are arguably better than those in other European countries! What stood out to me the most was the pineapple-flavored pork chop my friend ordered. The pineapple slices were thick, laid on top of the pork chop and eaten together. While the pork chop was a bit dry, the fruity aroma of the pineapple was a great complement. Its sweetness enhanced the flavor of the pork beautifully. As for mashed potatoes, they’re a staple of German cuisine—so much so that you might start feeling overwhelmed by the sheer ubiquity of potatoes! #2024mapped #hannover
