Hanoi Man Temple - Guozijian, is a place filled with a sense of history, not only one of the most prestigious surviving monuments in Vietnam, but also regarded as the birthplace of culture and education in the capital of Vietnam. Built in 1070, it was originally built to worship Confucius, and later became the earliest national institution of higher learning in Vietnam, producing many literati. A tour of Wen Temple - Guozijian is like walking into a cultural time tunnel in Vietnam, surrounded by rich Chinese architectural aesthetics, solemn and solemn. Itinerary Recommendation: It is recommended to arrive when the doors open at 8am, so you can avoid the maximum crowds and slowly appreciate the quiet surroundings. Entering from the main entrance and walking inward along the middle axis allows you to visit the five courtyards one by one. The first thing that comes into view is the artificial lake, green grass and ancient trees, followed by the Dacheng Hall, which enshrines Confucius and the saints of all ages, the most representative of which is of course the Buddha statues, flowers and offerings placed in the central shrine. Photo Spot Recommendations: 1. First Courtyard & Second Courtyard: Large lawns with ancient arches, simple composition of photos, whether the photo tone or portrait, the effect is very feel. 2. Stone Turtle Monument: The third courtyard houses 82 stone tablets, each placed on a giant stone turtle. 3. Inside Dacheng Hall: The temple is full of details inside and outside, especially in front of the Buddha statue with fresh flowers and fruits, which just captures the solemn and sacred atmosphere. Anything to be aware of? - Open year-round, opening hours are generally 08:00-17:00, it is recommended to go at the earliest time, there will be fewer people. - Remember to stay quiet and dress neatly and not too revealingly when entering the main hall or liturgical space. - Most buildings do not have air conditioning, summer will be hotter, remember to bring your own drinks. - Inside is divided into outdoor and indoor visiting areas, interested in quiet feeling, it is recommended to stay a little more time in the Dacheng Hall or courtyard to appreciate carefully. Personal thoughts: When I went to the scene, the biggest feeling was a sense of tranquility of time travel. The landmark itself is well preserved, and the flow of people is not much. There is enough space to walk slowly, take pictures slowly, and appreciate the monuments while feeling this uncontested atmosphere.
