A Night of Indulgence at the Hotel Bar

After a hearty meal, we decided to continue the fun at the hotel bar, choosing the Everyday Bar where we could enjoy light bites and fine wines while listening to beautiful singing. First thing's first, let's order a strong drink without saying a word! This cocktail called 'Roasted Duck Aroma' is truly satisfying, with a base of gin and a mix of duck sauce, sugar, cucumber, and lemon, combining three different flavors that perfectly replicate the signature roasted duck from Sha Tin 18. Each of us ordered some snacks to enjoy while chatting away! The stir-fried octopus with jade snails is perfect for accompanying drinks, with its chewy texture! It also comes with a variety of colorful cherry tomatoes, which the lady of the house would love. The pan-seared shrimp balls with spicy sausage are thrillingly spicy, not for the faint-hearted like me who fears spicy food, haha. This baked sourdough is stuffed with a variety of cheeses and cured ham, making it irresistibly fragrant and crispy. The Buffalo City spicy chicken wings here are not overly spicy, with a sweet and sour taste that goes well with blue cheese sauce. The most popular dish has to be these Mexican corn chips! The crispy corn chips are topped with vegetarian meat sauce and cheddar cheese, and if you want even more flavor, you can add some guacamole, which is so delicious you can't stop eating. The 'Be More Proud' cocktail is mixed so well, I definitely had to order another round at the Everyday Bar. The bar's food is great, though the choices are not too extensive! But you can order from the Cafe or Sha Tin 18, and we chose the Cafe's crispy shrimp spring rolls, which are not greasy at all, and the fresh shrimp inside makes for an excellent drink companion. This four-cheese pizza contains my favorite blue cheese! Combined with three other types of cheese, it's incredibly rich, and the most important thing is that the pizza base is baked to a perfect crispy and fragrant standard, which would make me come back just for it. The four-cheese option is not suitable for the lady of the house! So we also ordered an Italian spicy sausage, mushroom, mixed peppers, and buffalo cheese pizza for her to enjoy, which she was very satisfied with because it contained her favorite spicy sausage and was on a thin crust. The dessert Affotini here is also very special! Even I, who don't like coffee, found it delicious. I chose the coconut taro ice cream! Pouring the coffee cocktail into the ice cream creates a rich and smooth dessert. Besides the coconut taro flavor I chose, there are also winter melon pistachio and Wuliangye chocolate flavors, each with its own unique taste, so why not try them all?
