Hong Kong One-Day Trip

🇭🇰✨ Hong Kong One-Day Trip: Confusing but so impressive, we had to go back! Our first Hong Kong trip started off unintentionally late... We took the train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. 🚆💨 By the time we arrived, it was almost noon. Everything was a bit confusing, as we weren't familiar with the system at all. 😅 ⸻ 💸 Don't forget the first step! For anyone visiting Hong Kong for the first time, you need to know that the Chinese version of Alipay doesn't work. You have to use the Hong Kong version, or else you'll have to carry cash. 💵 We didn't exchange any money. 🥲 So we had to find an ATM and use the cash to buy an Octopus card, which is a must! We needed to get on the train, buy food, and go to various shops. Just use this one card and you're good to go! 🐙✨ ⸻ 🥐🍮 Stop 1: Tsim Sha Tsui × Egg Tart at Hashtag B Once we got our Octopus card, we headed straight for some food! 😋 The first place we planned to go was Hashtag B Egg Tart. We tried three flavors, but I have to say the Original is the best! Crispy, fragrant, and smooth, we have to give it a thumbs up! 👍🏼💛 Then we strolled around the city, enjoying the city's vibrant atmosphere. 🏙️ But it also had a unique Hong Kong-style orderliness. We wandered around so much that we ended up getting lost for a while, lol. 🙈 As we walked, we stopped at a nearby restaurant. I can't remember the name, but I'm not sure if it was "Tai Hing," but it was my first time trying goose meat. The flavors were quite unique. 🦆✨ The rest were crispy pork dishes, similar to what we have here in Thailand, but with a Hong Kong twist. Overall, it was edible and delicious. 😌 ⸻ 📸 Kennedy Town – tiring to walk, but I got some great photos. Next, we went to Kennedy Town to take photos. The check-in spot is really beautiful, but to be honest…it was very tiring to climb up. 😂💀 The good thing was that the weather wasn't hot when we went, and I didn't sweat at all. The walk was tiring, but not torturous. It felt good. 🍃✨ ⸻ 🌊 Finally, we returned to Tsim Sha Tsui. Before heading back, we strolled around, enjoying the breeze. It was quite chill. 🍂🌙 I didn't go to the temple this time, so I feel like…I should definitely go again. 🇭🇰💛
