Daily School Life in Hong Kong: Discovering a Northern Autumn in Victoria Park, Hong Kong

Victoria Park is the only urban park I've been to that is not just a gathering place for Filipino domestic helpers, but more like an international park. On the large lawn, parents or coaches of various skin colors are training kids in different sports (there’s basketball, soccer, rugby, and some balls I don’t recognize). Some are sunbathing on the grass (with clothes on 😂), some are practicing various martial arts (mostly elderly people), and some parents or Filipino helpers are walking kids. I really like this random yet diverse atmosphere. On the other side, there are cypress groves, bamboo forests, and large banyan trees scattered among flower beds, definitely very old. Walking through them, you might even forget you are right next to the extremely bustling and lively Causeway Bay in Hong Kong. The quiet garden next to the busiest and most prosperous area carries a deeply philosophical meaning. The profound silence and extraordinary prosperity complement each other, seeming opposed yet coexisting! Very interesting!
