Ganzhou Polar Ocean World

Ganzhou Polar Ocean World is a project developed by Fujian Longchuan Group with an investment of 2 billion yuan in three phases. It is located next to the 105 National Highway at Huangsha'ao, Shuixi Town, Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, covering an area of 103 acres. It is the largest polar ocean world in Jiangxi Province. The ocean world pavilion has a building area of 27,000 square meters, with 98 large and small display tanks, a total water volume of 25,000 tons, showcasing endangered species such as belugas, polar bears, dolphins, and marine creatures like penguins, sea lions, seals, sharks, turtles, as well as nationally protected animals such as Chinese sturgeon, Yangtze alligators, and axolotls, with more than 10,000 marine creatures of over 300 varieties. Ganzhou Polar Ocean World features nine major exhibition areas, three performances, and five interactive experiences: the Amazon Tropical Rainforest Area, the Tidal Zone Area, the Marine Coral Reef Fish Area, the Ferocious Shark Area, the Undersea Tunnel Area, the Polar Animal Area, the Dreamy Jellyfish Area, the Science Popularization Exhibition Experience Area, etc.; it includes the Dolphin Bay Theater, Beluga Romance Theater, and Mermaid Theater, highlighting performances by sea lions, dolphins, belugas, mermaids, and Russian underwater ballet. At the same time, interactive experiences such as diving, dolphin sonar rehabilitation, turtle fishing, and seal feeding are offered. The pavilion can accommodate up to 28,000 visitors per day. Ganzhou Polar Ocean World officially opened on September 28, 2018.
