Listen to me! Don't crowd around the scenic area when you come to Jiuzhaigou! 🚫 This guesthouse at the foot of Zhongcha Mountain doubled my travel happiness! 💯 Driving in, the scenery is incredibly soothing: barley fields, white stupas, and leisurely grazing yaks—it felt like stepping into a Tibetan fairytale. Our room was a mix of rustic wood and Tibetan elements. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the mountain views like paintings, and the underfloor heating made it incredibly warm and cozy. The front desk provided various thoughtful little items, such as wet wipes, rubber bands, and even disposable contact lens solution and nasal spray. The owners were so considerate! The barley cakes for breakfast were freshly baked, incredibly crispy, and paired with a bowl of hot yak butter tea, I could eat them for two days straight without getting tired of them. The guesthouse also offers a shuttle to the scenic area in the morning—super convenient! Driving to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is only 20 minutes, perfect for a weekend trip from Chengdu! I sincerely recommend that all the ladies, when you come to Jiuzhaigou, you must set aside two days for Zhongchagou. The slow pace of life here is the true meaning of a vacation!
