It is a simple restaurant, not luxurious, but many people come to eat, especially foreigners. The price is not expensive. The must-try menu is duck noodles and stir-fried duck with basil. Sunset at Koh Phayam This trip I traveled before the Covid outbreak. Koh Phayam is an island in Ranong Province. It takes about 40 minutes by speedboat from the coast of Ranong Province. It is an island in the Andaman Sea that has a peaceful and beautiful nature. It is also the shortest distance from Bangkok compared to the islands in the Andaman Sea. The sun sets below the horizon. Let's enjoy the resort known as the Maldives of Thailand. This time we stayed at Blue Sky Resort Koh Phayam🏝, which feels like the Maldives of Thailand because when the tide is high, it feels like we are in a room in the middle of the water. Blue Sky is located at Ao Mae Mai, with a beachfront view of the most beautiful sunrise on Koh Phayam🌅. There is a swimming pool by the sea. Before we arrived, we called the resort, and the staff drove a golf cart to pick us up at the pier. From the moment we stepped onto the pier, the staff were already waiting to take our bags, which was very impressive. When we arrived, we were greeted with a Welcome Drink, a small glass of hibiscus juice, either blended or frozen, which was very refreshing. When we arrived, our room was not ready yet, so we sat down to eat at the seaside restaurant, which was very delicious. After eating, the tide came in, so we took a boat to paddle around the resort🛶. The atmosphere was fantastic. During our visit, the tide came in from the afternoon and gradually receded after 3 PM.

The Blue Sky Resort is renowned as the Maldives of Thailand. We bought a 3-day 2-night package from a travel fair, which included boat fare, meals, and activities. We traveled by bus and then took a boat, which was quite tiring. On the first day, there was an activity to take a local tractor to see the view of Buffalo Bay. After that, we returned to the resort for dinner. The food was served as a set and tasted great. The sunset view from the restaurant was beautiful and not to be missed. The next morning, during high tide, we went kayaking through the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. In the afternoon, we rode bicycles (available for free). Overall, we were very impressed and would love to visit Koh Phayam again.

We stayed on the Ranong side and booked the boat tickets and parking through our accommodation. Don't miss the boat because you can't find parking. The boat ride takes about an hour, so prepare some activities to do. Along the way, you can see the Myanmar casino. The boat makes stops to drop off passengers, similar to a bus, where people from home come to pick them up by boat (first time seeing this). On the island, renting a motorcycle is the most convenient. You can tour the entire island in one day. During festivals, it's not advisable to walk in for accommodation or motorcycle rentals as they are hard to find. For motorcycles, it's recommended to get an automatic with larger tires to avoid tire punctures.

Koh Phayam Island is an island located in the southern part of Thailand. It is a quiet island with few tourists. It is also famous for its beautiful white sandy beach and blue sea. Our first trip to Koh Phayam. My wife and I have been married for 5 years and have never traveled anywhere together. We have two children. This trip is considered the first time we traveled far from home. That is Koh Phayam, Ranong Province. We traveled by boat from Ranong Pier to Koh Phayam. It took about an hour. #beachvacation A wanted a little vacation from my big vacation in Thailand so I decided it was time for some island life. I went to the island of Koh Phamyam. Just next to Ranong lays this little paradise on earth. It’s a small island with not that big population. The island has about 6 roads so I recommend rent a scoter one town when you arrive. It’s about 100 to 150 bath per day to rent. Because it’s an island you will have many beaches you can visit and because it’s a small island with not that many people coming here you will have almost a private beach. I visit in the rain season , October , so I almost had the beach to myself !! Like I said - paradise on earth. The island has quite a few restaurants serving all from German food, sea food , hamburger or of course Thai food!! So it’s no worries about getting good food!! I definitely recommend this island !!
