【Beautiful Lushan】The true face of Lushan in summer, like a tour around Ruqin Lake

Ruqin Lake in Lushan is named after its shape, which resembles a violin. Located in the central park of Guling Street, Lushan District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Built in 1961, it covers an area of about 110,000 square meters and has a water storage capacity of about 1,000,000 cubic meters. In the lake, there are curved bridges, pavilions, and flower paths. The flower path is also known as 'Baisima Flower Path,' named after Bai Juyi, who once walked along the path to enjoy the flowers. It is a mountain park, with a couplet at the entrance: 'Flowers bloom in the mountain temple, poets linger to chant.' The words 'Flower Path' are inscribed above the gate. Inside the park, there is a Flower Path Pavilion, with the words 'Flower Path' engraved on a stone, said to be written by Bai Juyi. There are also 'Jingbai Pavilion,' 'Zili Pavilion,' 'Flower Path Artificial Lake,' 'Flower Exhibition Room,' 'Zoo,' and other attractions. The park is planted with peach blossoms and various famous flowers. Bai Juyi's famous line 'In April, when all flowers wither in the world, the peach blossoms in the mountain temple begin to bloom' refers to this place. On the east side of the lake, by Dalin Road, there is the famous glacial relic: 'Flying Stone.' Ruqin Lake is located in the west valley, surrounded by peaks and lush forests, creating an elegant environment. In the center of the lake is an island, where many peacocks are artificially raised, hence the name Peacock Island. The curved bridge connects to the island, adorned with waterside pavilions, forming a picturesque scene of green water and mountains, creating a harmonious and interesting view. Standing on the island, one can enjoy the surrounding beauty.
