Detailed Itinerary Day 1 After arriving in Mile, we first went to the Echarm Hotel to check in. The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation, and the price is very affordable. For just over CNY 100, you can enjoy a high-quality accommodation experience. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable, making you feel at home as soon as you enter. It is worth mentioning that the room is also equipped with a washing machine, which is a very thoughtful facility for long-distance travelers like us. The breakfast is also very rich, including a variety of Chinese buffets, which are delicious and make us look forward to the new day. After a short rest, we took a taxi to Dongfengyun Scenic Area. Dongfengyun Scenic Area is a highlight of Mile, famous for its unique red brick architectural style and rich natural landscape. The Kaleidoscope Art Museum, Provence Flower Sea, and other attractions are all fascinating. We strolled through the scenic area, feeling the perfect integration of art and nature, and kept taking photos to commemorate the trip. At noon, we had a simple meal near the scenic area and tasted some local snacks. In the afternoon, we continued to visit other attractions in Dongfengyun Scenic Area and went to Honghe Water Town. Honghe Water Town is a well-renovated open town in the city center, with a beautiful and tranquil environment. In the evening, we watched a free water dance show (at 8:30 pm on weekends) and felt the unique charm of the water town. In the evening, we went to Jinxiu Flower Street to taste local snacks. There are a wide variety of snacks on Jinxiu Flower Street, such as chicken feet, ice powder, roasted milk fan, etc., all of which are mouth-watering. We walked and tasted, spending only a dozen yuan per person, which satisfied our taste buds and saved money. After eating the snacks, we returned to the hotel to rest and recharge for the next day's itinerary. Day 2 After getting up early, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then we took a taxi to the Flower, Bird, and Fish Market, which is full of local life. We strolled around the market, admiring all kinds of flowers, birds, and fish, and feeling the local customs of Mile. Then, we went for a walk in Lake Spring Ecological Park. Lake Spring Ecological Park is known as the Little Sanya of Mile, with green grass and swaying palm trees by the lake. We hiked around the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery and feeling the tranquility and beauty of nature. At noon, we tasted local specialties near Lake Spring Ecological Park—Mile braised chicken and soy milk chicken hot pot. These two dishes are unique in taste and delicious, making us very satisfied. In the afternoon, due to limited time, we chose to go to Jinpingshan Scenic Area. Jinpingshan Scenic Area has 1,999 steps and a 19.9-meter-high Maitreya Buddha. We climbed the steps, prayed for blessings, and felt the influence of Buddhist culture.
