The earliest park in Mudanjiang City is People's Park.

Mudanjiang People's Park is located in Yangming District, Mudanjiang City, with Guanghua Street to the north, East Seventh Road to the east, Ping'an Street to the south, and East Fourth Road to the west. Mudanjiang People's Park was built in 1931 and was originally a swamp park. In 1933, it was named Mudan Park. In 1947, it was renamed Zhu De Park, and in 1953, it was officially named People's Park. After several expansions and renovations, it has now become an important place for citizens to relax and entertain.
