Traveling in Egypt, the biggest surprise turned out to be the archaeology tour guide

🔍 Yesterday, a friend was waiting for our guide, more updates to come! 🚶‍➡️ Our itinerary for the second day: morning at the Grand Egyptian Museum, lunch opposite the pyramids, afternoon visiting the pyramids, and watching a sunset in the desert. 🇪🇬 The Grand Egyptian Museum is incredibly impressive; it was still under construction during my first visit to Egypt! The venue is so large that two or three days are not enough to explore it all, with 12 halls. We entered at 9 AM and only visited 3 halls this time. I highly recommend booking a professional guide to explain everything, otherwise, you’ll only be seeing the “surface.” Today's guide gave me a huge surprise and deserves high praise 👍 Ashima, an Egyptian guide who is well-versed in Egyptian history, understands ancient Egyptian language, graduated in archaeology, and speaks Chinese fluently, will definitely make your trip worthwhile. (Photo 7) The restaurant opposite the pyramids for lunch was also booked by her. The pyramid visit in the afternoon is very different from 8 years ago; cars are no longer allowed inside, and you must switch to the park shuttle. She recommended the optimal route and the best photo spots, and she is also very good at photography 📷. The sunset in the desert was stunning! We rode camels, but she was concerned and followed us the whole time in a horse carriage, continuing to take photos for us (Photo 12). Her guide fee might be a bit higher, but she helps translate and handle all kinds of issues during the trip, ensuring you don’t waste money! Finding the right guide really prevents you from encountering scammers mentioned in travel tips!! Totally worth it!
