After all, many of New York's museums are world-class. 1️⃣ The Metropolitan Museum of Art One of the largest museums in the United States, it has everything from ancient and European paintings to Asian art treasures, and even an entire ancient Egyptian temple. 🎫 Tickets: Suggested donation of $30 (adults), $17 (students) 📅 Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 10:00–17:00; Friday and Saturday 10:00–21:00 2️⃣ Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Mainly modern and contemporary art, and very close to Fifth Avenue. World-class masterpieces such as Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" are housed here. 🎫 Tickets: $25 (adults); $14 for students, free for children under 16. 📅 Opening hours: Daily 10:30–17:30, extended to 19:00 on Fridays. 3️⃣ American Museum of Natural History The setting for "Night at the Museum," it features dinosaur fossils, a blue whale model, minerals, and natural science collections, making it a great place for family visits.
