The Bronx in Bloom: The Orchid Show at NYBG

#springitinerary Visiting The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx was a highlight of my spring. This year’s theme, Mexican Modernism, transformed the conservatory into a vibrant, artful celebration of orchids and architecture. With over 1,300 orchid species displayed among colorful walls and arches inspired by Luis Barragán, the experience felt both immersive and serene. I especially loved Orchid Nights, with live music and creative workshops. Whether you're into botany or beauty, this annual show is a captivating escape in the heart of the Bronx.
