The Exquisite White Temple

Wat Rong Khun, dubbed the 'White Temple' is located within an expensive compound comprising of relic and meditation halls, temples and and an art gallery. You will need to follow the flow from the entrance at the bridge to cross a small lake with hundreds of outreaching hands. These hands symbolises unrestrained desires that leads to suffering, and denotes that the way to achieving happiness is by giving up greed and desire. It's exquisite architecture warrants atleast a visit here if you're in Chiang Mai. I especially love the art gallery where the artworks were truly inspiring. Kindly note that women should not wear short pants and no sleeveless shirt.
