The fourth round trip to Pingwu, I recommend this travel route

Gazing at the green water paired with the distant sharp peaks of Wanglang Snow Mountain, the feeling of western Xiaochuan comes rushing in~ If you also want to take your family on a weekend trip to Pingwu, save this travel guide from me: 🚗 How to get there Jiuzhou-Mianyang Expressway is free until the end of the year, with a one-way toll of only 3 yuan ❄️ 2-3 day travel route Pingwu Bao'en Temple → Baxu Jiagu Ancient Village → Tianmu Lake Viewing Platform → Sea Buckthorn Valley → Wanglang 📍 Baxu Jiagu Ancient Village Right next to Tianmu Lake, the ancient village and stone foundation wooden houses are staggered and very photogenic. There is a bonfire party in the evening where you can dance around the fire with the locals 🔥 📍 Tianmu Lake Viewing Platform Directly opposite the ancient village, you can see the full view of the village and the mountains behind covered with colorful forests, very autumnal. Local villagers sell beef skewers and roasted potato cakes 🍢 📍 Sea Buckthorn Valley A light hiking route ending at a stunning calcified ice waterfall. The round trip is about seven kilometers on a gravel road with little elevation gain, suitable for family nature exploration. Villagers offer motorcycle rides along the way 📍 Pingwu Bao'en Temple A thousand-year-old ancient building, known as China’s Dougong Museum. Entirely wooden structure, golden nanmu wood, red walls, truly worthy of the name "Palace in the Deep Mountains" 📍 Wanglang Nature Reserve An undeveloped forest with few people but breathtaking scenery! About a 1-hour shuttle ride to the deep area for full exploration, please allow at least half a day here 💡💡 My travel tips ① It’s very cold and windy!
