Shanghai Botanical Garden has always been a must-visit place for spring outings since childhood! The flowers here are constantly changing, and it's currently the main venue for the 2024 International Flower Exhibition. Let's enjoy the flowers🌸 and take pictures📷 together! Early summer has many flowers in bloom, and the main attractions are actually roses and Chinese roses. Also, there is a City Garden Exhibition in May. So the main gardens to visit are: 1️⃣ North Area: This area is actually newly built and has just started trial operation. It includes the Perennial Garden and the Vine Garden; these two gardens have a longer flowering period. By late May, you can also see the peak blooming of the clematis. There are also two exhibition greenhouses here, featuring rock plants and alpine plants, which are worth visiting if you're interested. 2️⃣ South Area: Not only are the roses in full bloom, but there are also many roses and Chinese roses. The peonies in the Peony Garden have fully bloomed and are particularly beautiful! Mainly, there are 🌹 flower walls and fresh flower tunnels, which are perfect for those who love to take photos. Don't miss the chance to get some great shots! 3️⃣ The South Area has two exhibition greenhouses that charge an admission fee. If you're short on time, you might want to skip them, as they are not very large. However, if you're interested in plants, you can go, and the ticket price is 30 yuan per person. 4️⃣ Additionally, there is the 50th Anniversary Exhibition of the Shanghai Botanical Garden in the Plant Building, which offers insights into the development of the botanical garden. It closes promptly at 4 pm. However, during busy times, you may need to queue to enter. Below are Tips: (For a detailed map of the tour, see the last image) 🚌 Public Transport: Take subway line 3 to Shilong Road Station, walk south for 10min to enter through Gate 4. 🚗 Driving: For parking 🅿️ South Area: The temporary parking lot of the botanical garden is on Baise Road, near Longwu Road, about 400m walk to Gate 1, 6 yuan/hour (see image 10). North Area: Parking is available on the roadside of Dongquan Road opposite Gate 4, 20 yuan/time. ⌚️ Opening Hours: From May to October, Gate 1 is open from 7 am to 6 pm, Gate 3 from 6 am to 6 pm From November to April, Gate 1 is open from 7 am to 5 pm, Gate 3 from 6 am to 5 pm.
