The countryside inn consists of three buildings, built by the water and neighboring it. Inspired by the lotus flower, the buildings are named Shuimu, Xike, and Lianjing respectively. Taking a small boat typical of Jiangnan water towns, you can leisurely travel from one building to another. The service is very polite. From the housekeeper to the front desk and the aunties, all requests are promptly fulfilled with quick feedback. When leaving, they even gave a box of farm-fresh eggs, and at home, we found it was actually three full boxes. The kids enjoyed playing at the inn so much they didn’t want to leave, so we didn’t visit other attractions. Meals Courtyard No. 1 includes breakfast and dinner, Courtyard No. 13 includes breakfast only. Each courtyard has one auntie responsible for cleaning and preparing meals. Barbecue equipment and seasonings can be provided, but ingredients must be brought by guests.
