Visit Historical Landmark in Asperen

#familytrips2024 #vianasjourney #thingstodo Although Asperen is a really small city, but there are few historical landmarks that you could visit. Here are my two suggestions; 1) Loopgraaf Meerdijk en groepsschuilplaatsen; basically a shelter used during the war. Nowadays, it’s just left without proper care. I said so because the shelter was filled with rubbish and visitors actually vandalise the property. 2) Fort Asperen; it’s located outside of the city. Well taken care of. It use as an exhibition and cultural activities nowadays. There’s a restaurant located outside of the fort as well.
