Beautiful Mallorca boasts an incredibly soulful tourist attraction: a retro train from the island's capital, Palma de Mallorca, to the small town of Soller, famous for its incredibly delicious oranges (this author has verified it!). The railway was once used to transport oranges and lemons, but now it attracts tourists from all over the world with its picturesque views. Olive and citrus groves tantalize travelers with ripe fruit, majestic mountains with looming clouds, small villages shrouded in mountain mist in the valleys below, and dark tunnels piercing the mountain ranges. The valley through which the train travels is especially beautiful in February, when the almond trees begin to bloom. The gentle Spanish spring sun and the airy white petals of the almonds.
