Jiayin Hall

Jiayin Hall, located on Zhuhang Street in Tongli Town, was built by the Liu family of Beiku in the 11th year of the Republic of China (1922). It covers an area of 854 square meters. Originally there were four buildings, but the third was converted into a courtyard during the renovation in 1993. It was opened to the public in 1996. The wall door is an 'eight-character' water mill green brick stone gate. The main hall is a 'gauze cap' hall, with a full veranda design. The two sides of the third hall are wing buildings, with brick carved door buildings. The house is quiet and serene, with exquisite and delicate carvings, rich and elegant, and has high artistic value. In 1997, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Wujiang City; in 2011, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. Protection range: all around to the boundary wall. Construction control zone: 18 meters outside the protection range to the east; to the west side of Xigutang; to Youjia Alley to the south; to the river to the north.
