Tongli Ancient Town at dusk

I arrived at Tongli Ancient Town after five in the afternoon, as the sky gradually darkened, adding a few more touches of simplicity and tranquility to the ancient town. At this moment, gone were the daytime crowds, the jostling boats in the creek, the loud noises of tourists and the shouting of vendors... Now, the ancient town seemed to truly return to its original state—unadorned, serene, harmonious, and slow-paced. In front of me were a few leisurely strolling tourists; an old fisherman with his cormorants (egrets) slowly rowing home; young people showing off their love and posing for photos in various styles; visitors chatting over tea by the creek, enjoying delicious food... As the evening lights came on, they added a layer of rich, dreamy colors to the ancient town, showing the true essence of what it should be like. I had visited Tongli Ancient Town before, and today I saw an even more beautiful side of it. The trip was worthwhile, and perhaps I will come again in the future...
