Originally opened in 1989, the park experienced several closures over the years. In 2020, Tai’an’s Municipal Party Committee and Government launched a major renovation project, making it one of the “Ten Civil Projects” of 2020. With an investment of 120 million RMB, the Mount Taishan Scenic Area completely transformed the park’s landscape and facilities. ✨ Renovation began in June 2020 ✨ Basically completed by November 2020 Today, Hushan Park spans 20.6 hectares and is one of the city’s most pleasant public spaces — perfect for walking, relaxing, or soaking in local culture, not to mention it gives you a nice backdrop of Mount Tai at the background.
