Tengchong, Stay at Empark Grand Hotel Tengchong

Tengchong City, under the jurisdiction of Baoshan City, is known as the "Hometown of Geothermal Energy" and the "Top Border City." Located at 25°N, it has the best climate and is influenced by the Indian Ocean monsoon. The four seasons are not distinct, with sunny and warm winters and alternating sunny and rainy summers. The climate is cool and pleasant. Located at the southern end of the Hengduan Mountains, it is a rare area in the world where volcanoes and geothermal energy coexist. In the Neolithic Age, ancestors lived in Tengchong. During the Han Dynasty, it belonged to the Kingdom of Chengxiang and Dian Yue. Empark Grand Hotel Tengchong is a high-end leisure resort hotel located in Shijicheng, Tengyue Town. The rooms are comfortable and convenient. The lake view rooms have excellent views, offering a panoramic view of the terrain and landforms of Tengchong. The restaurant is large, and the breakfast is also very good, with a high cost-performance ratio. This self-driving tour started from Xi'an, passing through Langzhong, Ya'an, Xichang, and Dali, with the last stop in Tengchong, staying at Empark Grand Hotel Tengchong. The hotel has three buildings with five-star, four-star, and three-star ratings, making it large in scale and strong in reception capacity. Every day, we saw many groups, mainly because of its excellent location and large scale. We stayed here during our time in Tengchong. Walking along the lakeside was also very nice, with good air quality. One day, after the rain, we even encountered a hairy crab walking by the lake. Haha, it was interesting, and we threw it into the lake. During our time in Tengchong, we visited the Tengchong Rehai Hot Sea, Tengchong Volcano Group, Heshun Ancient Town, and Simola Wa Village. On the way to Tengchong, we also saw the Longjiang Bridge, a project in the clouds. Of course, we had to soak in the hot springs and enjoy the local delicacies, such as beef hot pot and mushroom hot pot, which are all very distinctive. It was a wonderful journey, and we will definitely come back here if we have the chance.
