Japan Travels: Anime “Your Name” Stairs

Some anime has real life locations of Japan in it and we visited one of the most famous anime, Your Name spot in Tokyo Japan. One of the scene in movie has the iconic stairs where the 2 main protagonists met and this is where we are. We went over on the afternoon and the stairs actually has a few tourists/locals around it taking photos too. The magical stairs has since became a tourist spot after the movie. Definitely a must visit hidden gem for anime lovers! Seeing the stairs real life gives us so much vibe from the movie, it’s warms our heart and we enjoy the great views from bottom and top of the stairs. It’s located next to a shrine, so be advised to keep your voices low and we visited the shrine after taking a few videos/photos of the stairs. Make sure to bow before and after going to the shrine as it’s a form of respect. It’s a lovely neighbourhood to walk around too and enjoy the local vibe around too!
