The mountains here are steep, but with the help of the scenic area's South Heaven Gate cable car and four elevators, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Taihang Mountains and the Danxia landform relatively easily. Most of the mountain trails are gentle and suitable for ordinary tourists.
