A Hidden Army - Terracotta Warriors, Xi’an

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the terracotta warriors in Xi’an, China. Located not far out of the main city in a beautiful secluded countryside. You can find the UNESCO world Heritage site where this hidden army is located. With insightful history, lessons around every corner and the opportunity to watch archaeology in action heading to this location is a must if you’re traveling in Shaanxi province or visiting China more generally. I would highly recommend staying overnight in a nearby hotel and heading to the site early in the morning to get a good view before the crowds get too large. There is some really delicious local food to be had outside of the main attraction and for an even better time, I would recommend getting a tour guide, just as we did to help.
