Xi'an's Lesser-Known Attraction: Gao Family Courtyard, a Ming and Qing Official Residence in the Deep Alleys of Huifang

📍Gao Family Courtyard Currently the best-preserved Ming and Qing ancient architecture in Xi'an, with a history of over 400 years. It was the residence of Gao Yuesong, the second-ranked scholar in the Qing Dynasty imperial examination. The plaque at the entrance was bestowed by the emperor in the 10th year of Tongzhi, reading "Second Place Scholar."
