Winter Textures and Visual Poetry
"Cowden in February is a study in texture. We loved the peeling bark of the birch trees, the jagged edges of the rocks, and the soft, velvet-like moss. For a Valentine's date, it’s a very poetic setting. You don't need bright summer flowers when you have such a sophisticated palette of greens, browns, and grays. It feels very 'Wabi-sabi'—finding beauty in the imperfect and the aged. We found it much more romantic than a typical flower shop display. It felt real, enduring, and deeply connected to the earth. A truly soulful experience for any couple."
