Kromlix's New Restaurant
Cromlicks Hotel is a historic Victorian manor hotel located near Dunblan, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Originally built in 1874, it was acquired in 2013 by local-born tennis star Andy Murray and his wife Kim, partly due to the hotel's special significance to their family. The hotel reopened in 2014. Nestled within 34 acres of private woodland and gardens, the hotel enjoys an exceptionally tranquil setting.
Designed by owner Kim Murray, the hotel underwent a complete renovation in 2023, aiming to create an atmosphere of "unrestrained elegance" and relaxed, home-like luxury. The interior design is filled with natural colors and botanical elements, with all bedrooms named after flowers that grow on the manor. The hotel offers over ten guest rooms and suites, ranging from superior suites and deluxe suites with separate living rooms to distinctive tower suites and family-friendly laurel boulevards, catering to diverse needs.

The hotel's central dining area is the "Glass House" restaurant, where the chef insists on using local, seasonal ingredients, some sourced from the hotel's kitchen garden or wild-picked. The hotel offers a wealth of facilities, including tennis courts, a billiards room, gardens, a chapel, and can arrange signature activities such as archery and falconry. The hotel was awarded the Thistle Award for "Best Hotel Experience in Scotland 2023" for its exceptional service and experiences.
In short, Cromlicks seamlessly blends the historical charm of Victorian architecture with modern comforts, a nature-integrated lifestyle, and attentive personalized service, offering guests a top-tier destination to escape the hustle and bustle and experience authentic Scottish countryside luxury and tranquility.
Construction has begun on a 60-seat restaurant, expected to open in May 2026. Located next to the main lawn, overlooking the manor and its gardens, the restaurant will offer culinary delights prepared with premium local ingredients, much of which will be sourced from the hotel's own kitchen garden, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Scottish countryside. Cromlicks will also feature a small, intimate fine dining restaurant, three suites, and a wellness cottage.
