Hatta Wadi Hub, part of Hatta resorts is a unique destination nestled among Hajar Mountains 130km from Dubai, next to Oman border. The hub offers variety of activities from zip lines, slides, pain balling, climbing wall and many more which makes it a perfect family destination. Above all of them is bike riding with huge selection of trails from simple ones for kids to very challenging across the mountains. Bike shop has excellent rental equipment and super helpful staff. You can do it as a day trip from Dubai but it’s more advisable to stay over night. Resort offers excellent lodges and trailers with own bbq spaces. Just 130km from central Dubai Hatta Damm is one of key escapes for nature lovers. Settled among Hajar Mountains in a picturesque valley surrounded by 800-1400m peaks. Kayaking centre offers rentals of kayaks (double for 120dirhams), motor doughnuts (300 dirhams). Great way to reconnect with nature. It’s a bit of a trip from Dubai so best to stay over night in one of nice hotels around. Just on the edge of the water there are air streamers for overnight stay. #awesomepic

#celebrateit Before coming to that place I thought Dubai is about shopping, desert and luxury. But turned out Dubai is mountains and nature as well. This place is Hatta Dam and it’s located rather far from the downtown, almost on the border with Oman. But the area and mountains are so stunning and beautiful that cannot be missed if you are traveling to Dubai. We rented a car to go there and fully enjoyed the drive.

When there's enough money, even a city in the desert can showcase and unearth the various civilizations of its ancestors. With its oil exports and decades of development, the UAE has become truly sophisticated! Entry Process ▫️Visa-free, only a passport is required. (Check the expiration date and blank pages) ▫️After disembarking, follow the blue "Arrival" signs. ▫️Notes on iris scanning upon entry: · It's best not to wear colored contact lenses. · If the gate scan is unsuccessful, return to the border control office (office 1). There are more precise scanners at the counters there (I witnessed passengers with eye conditions being able to pass). Geographic Location and Climate The UAE, or United Arab Emirates, with its capital Abu Dhabi, is located in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders Saudi Arabia to the southwest, Oman to the northeast, and faces Iran across the Persian Gulf to the north. The UAE has a tropical desert climate with two distinct seasons: a hot season from May to October and a cool season from November to April. Summers are hot and dry, with temperatures ranging from 40–48°C. Winters are comfortable, with temperatures between 8–20°C, and occasional rainfall.
