📍Travel Introduction I spontaneously planned a trip to Da Nang with a friend after finding affordable flight tickets on Trip.com and decided to go! 🚩Travel Route Accommodation near My Khe Beach in Da Nang -> Ba Na Hills -> Cham Island Tour -> Hoi An -> Hoi An tourist spots and cooking class 🏖️Landmarks When I first visited Da Nang, I didn’t go to Ba Na Hills, so I thought it would be nice to visit this time. However, I realized that Ba Na Hills is built at a very high altitude. The journey up was quite scary, and I thought it might be challenging for those with a fear of heights. Nevertheless, the views and activities at the top were very satisfying, and I understood why Ba Na Hills is a must-visit attraction. 🚇Transportation I used the Indrive app, a taxi negotiation app. It allowed me to propose prices directly, making it more cost-effective than Grab. Around My Khe Beach, I mostly walked, and for the trip to Hoi An, I used the Cham Island tour vehicle. 📷Photo Spots Personally, I think you can capture some amazing shots during the Cham Island tour. Cham Island is like a harbor village similar to Tongyeong in Korea, and it was so beautiful that I took many memorable photos before starting snorkeling. 🍜Recommended Restaurants For recommended restaurants, Antoi, which is popular among Koreans, is a safe choice that most people will be satisfied with. Mok Restaurant is also great for affordable seafood. However, I personally enjoyed and remember the experience of eating local Bun Cha and local Banh Mi more. 🏠Recommended Accommodation In Hoi An, I stayed at the Historic Hotel. Since it’s popular among Koreans, the facilities are excellent, clean, and the location is perfect. I considered having a hotel vacation in Hoi An, and I think choosing the mid-range priced Historic Hotel was a good decision. The breakfast was delicious, and the swimming pool had a great vibe. 💡Precautions Da Nang feels like a safe place, so there aren’t any particular precautions, but it’s always important to stay mindful of safety.

Hoi An Ancient Town (a historical landmark located in Hoi An, Vietnam) is a must-see for visitors to Da Nang. Its diverse scenery changes from day to night. A UNESCO World Heritage site, its cultural traditions remain remarkably well-preserved. The streets are charmingly quaint. Be sure to find a perfect spot on the bridge for photos, with boats sailing by in the background. ❗ There are tons of vendors selling bamboo bags (the variety is so extensive, so take your time and enjoy shopping, and remember to bargain with the vendors! ❗), a wide variety of small toys, small electric fans (it was incredibly hot 🔥☀️), and even grilled frogs and skewers. The local weather is so hot, you can see fried ice everywhere you go. It was unbearable 🤣🤣, so I ordered two cups of grass ice to cool off without hesitation. ☺️ The architecture here blends Chinese, Japanese, and European styles, making it truly stunning to photograph everywhere. It's a shame we didn't stay until night. Hoi An is said to be filled with colorful lanterns at night, lighting up the alleys and streets, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. ❗ Walking along the streets, you'll also see colorful lanterns everywhere, making for great photos and a truly iconic and unique experience. By the way, there are many internet-famous cafes hidden away in the alleys. After a long stroll through the streets, I needed to use the restroom 😂 so I found a nice one and quickly made a quick stop for a refreshing drink. 🥤🧊 The decor is lovely, and I definitely made the right choice!❗ 🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: The place has a quaint atmosphere, and with so many vendors you might get lost. It's a great place to browse. When you're in Hoi An, be sure to buy a unique bamboo bag as a souvenir and treat yourself. Remember to bargain hard for the ones you like.❗❗😂 🕰️Opening Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Nguyen Hoang Night Market is open from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The opening hours are actually quite long. The scenery was beautiful. It was 10 a.m., and we hadn't even had lunch yet. We started our fun ride on the Canaan bamboo barrel boat. ☺️😆 I had to post a photo with the lovely boatman. His smile was so bright and friendly. 🥰 Our trip left us with wonderful memories that are still vivid in my mind. 🎉👍👍 The Canaan bamboo barrel boat was so much fun. 😂😂😂 The cute and funny boatman kept rowing for us, even after receiving a US dollar tip. Most tourists probably only tip in Vietnamese Dong. The boatman was so happy when he received it, he even waved to the other boatmen, saying, "I got some US dollars!" 😁🤣🤣 It was like riding a spinning coffee cup, and I rowed the boat hard (?!) Besides that, there's crab fishing, which isn't easy 🤣🤣 You don't get that many opportunities, so I really admire those who succeed 👍👍👍👍 It was so much fun riding this adorable bamboo barrel boat~~ It was so much fun ✨️✨️ and I felt like I was part of local life. Plus I felt a bit dizzy while rowing in the sweltering heat, yet I was also incredibly happy. 😘 I have to say that Central Vietnam is incredibly hot in the summer. The temperature feels incredibly hot, and I sweat just by being outdoors. 🔥 We always have to have wet wipes handy to wipe away any sweat!❗❗ Hoi An Ancient Town was designated a World Heritage Site in 1999. We visited the Guangdong and Fujian Guild Halls. Walking along the cobblestone streets, the town is filled with ancient charm and a vibrant culture. A photo with the monumental landmark standing in the middle of the bridge is a must! ❤️💕 Every time I travel, I always buy a fridge magnet as a souvenir.👍 I was surprised to see so many vendors selling fried ice cream everywhere. We ordered strawberry (with strawberry jam) and mango (with real fruit) flavors to cool down. 💦💦 Each flavor costs 40,000 VND, a super deal. 🤤 The fried ice cream was truly unique. Day 1: Da Nang 12:00 Arrive at your accommodation 12:30 Eat at Loving Vegan 14:00 Free Lady Buddha in the Monkey Mountain 15:30 Go to the beach for a feel-good experience 18:00 Eat pho at the famous Thia Go Restaurant 19:00 Dragon Bridge 20:00 Food Festival (It happened to be happening when we went) Drove past and stopped by) 10:00 PM, changed clothes and went to a bar. 11:00 PM, Funky Donkey, a really fun AFRO bar. You have to go late, early, when there are fewer people. There's no entrance fee, depending on how much you eat. Day 2 Hoi An 10:00 AM, coffee and snacks at Braed & Butter, Danang 11:00 AM, rent a motorbike and drive to Hoi An, about 30 minutes. 11:30 AM, arrive in Hoi An, stop by CONG cafe for some cool photos. 1:00 PM, eat at Cao Lau Ba Le 2:30 PM, coconut boat ride 6:00 PM, walk around Hoi An's old town. 7:00 PM, stop for Bahn Mi at All Day Bahn Mi. The flan cake was delicious. 8:00 PM, stroll around the Old Town Market. 10:00 PM, return to your accommodation in Danang. Its narrow streets are lined with old merchant houses, traditional shops, and colorful lanterns that glow beautifully at night. Today, it is a peaceful place where you can wander by the riverside, explore temples, or simply sit at a café and watch life pass by. 📅 Da Nang Itinerary Day1: We arrived at lunch time. Straight to Cơm Mẹ Anh from the airport, then checked in the hotel, showered and took a quick nap. Checked out Linh Ung Temple in Son Tra at 4-5pm to catch the sunset. The temple is huge and iconic, and it’s one of the best lookout point in Da Nang Day2: Ba Na Hills. It will take a whole day, so either go early to avoid the long queues or buy the golden pass. Alpine coster is a must-try! Day3: Marble Mountains: make sure to wear comfy clothes to climb some stairs. It takes 1 elevator ride and about 150 steps to the main attractions, but the steps are high and can be slippery, since it’s all rocks and moss. Many cool caves and temples. We went early in the morning so it wasn’t too hot and crowded. It took about half a day. Beach and beach bar at night. Day4: Hoi An Ancient town: Memories Show Hoi An provides an amazing outdoor performance, something you won’t regret seeing. Buy tickets in advance and arrive early for better seatings. If you’re interested in checking out all the ancient houses then it’ll take up a whole day to explore. If you want to take photos with no one in the background, aim to arrive no later than 7am. 🏨 Accommodation: Doan An Dieu Duong 27 Da Nang (cheap stay right across My Khe Beach, with plenty of food and bars around) 🍴 Food Recommendations: -Cơm Mẹ Anh (2 Thang 9 street): Vietnamese family meals kinda food, cute Viet style vintage decors. Portions may look small but it gives you the opportunity to try multiple dishes at once, just like how local family meals are served. Amazing food and cheap prices, we came back 3 times during our 5 days stay. -Mộc Seafood restaurant: might look expensive compared to other seafood restaurants, but it worth every penny. Super fresh food(you can pick at their fish tanks), the employees will handle the messy parts like de-shelling crabs and lobsters for you. Highly recommended their garlic butter sauce! -Hàng Gánh Vietnamese Kitchen (right behind the recommended hotel): good ambiance, good food, it looks expensive from the outside but affordable, and has great aircon. Food in Hoi An: -Thịt Nướng Cô Lợi (2pm-8pm): an small outdoor local spot, squat down tiny chairs and tables, and you’ll be sweating, but the food is worth it. We bought the food and brought to Phê La coffee nearby, which had aircon and comfier tables inside. They automatically put chili in the sauce, make sure to ask for no chili if needed. -Bánh mì madame Khánh: best bánh mì in my whole Da Nang trip. 📌Tips: -Foods in Hoi An is generally great, but make sure to pick a crowded spot. They’ll have high turnover, so there would be no frozen/off food. -Local cafes can be really expensive in Hoi An (compared to regular local prices), so branched cafes like Highlands coffee, Cộng coffee will be safer choices for a yummy drink and comfy seating with aảicon #travel #danang #marblemountains #hoianmemoryshow #hoian

Location📍: Ancient Haven (Hoi An) Price: 8-9xx (breakfast included) Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spacious room, as advertised, cool air conditioning, inexpensive, not far to walk to the old town, and most importantly, the staff provided excellent service, starting from the uncle who helped carry the bags from the car and put them up in the room. The receptionist (the one with short hair) could communicate in English, recommended restaurants and places to visit. We walked out and they brought us umbrellas to prevent the hot sun. On the middle day of our trip to Da Nang, we visited Hoi An 🌴 It takes less than an hour (about 40–50 minutes) by GRAB taxi from Da Nang. Hoi An is famous for its night market and lantern festival, which are highlights at night, but this time, we decided to visit in the morning! We arrived around early afternoon, and there were very few people!! So, if you want to take photos, visiting around noon is a good idea! 📷 (After 3 PM, the crowd increases significantly.) Since it was a special occasion, we explored the town wearing Ao Dai. There are plenty of rental shops, and we were able to rent without a reservation 🙆♀️. You can wear it until the shop closes, so you can enjoy your time without worrying about the clock. They also help you coordinate your outfit, so it's stress-free 👍🏻. This time, we visited two cafes and went souvenir shopping ☕️.
