I was in Amsterdam for the last few days but started to move around and look at the Hoofddorp area. it’s a nice small town with cheaper hotel. The area is very near to the Schipol Airport. Hotels in here normally have shuttle bus for free to the airport. In shops and bakery nearby here you can see Halloween signs. This bakery, had a special bread with Halloween features. Halloween in the Netherlands is little more than a creeping Americanisation — the Dutch have never traditionally celebrated Halloween, and likely never will. After all, the Dutch are potato-eaters, not pumpkin-carvers. However, that hasn’t stopped Halloween parties popping up, Dutch stores stocking ghastly orange products around October, and even trick-or-treaters hitting the streets #halloween2021 #halloween2021#themepark#lakes

This trip to the Netherlands I chose to stop at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Intercity Hotel in Hofdorp, the biggest reason is that it is super close to the train station, a few minutes walk, and only one stop from Schiphol Airport. The whole hotel is of modern design, but the price belongs to the 1980s, because Amsterdam accommodation is the best in Europe, this time the oversized room twin bed is only HK$700. Usually the cheapest twin rooms in AMS are easily thousands of dollars a night The hotel location is a real plus! It was such a unique and immersive way to see the country from a completely different perspective. I also visited A'DAM Lookout, which was definitely a highlight of my trip. The views over the city were absolutely stunning, but the real standout was the famous Amsterdam swings—easily my favourite part of the entire experience. Swinging out over the edge of the building with panoramic views of Amsterdam was both thrilling and unforgettable! I also took a relaxing canal boat cruise, which is a must-do in Amsterdam. Gliding through the iconic canals while taking in the beautiful architecture and charming bridges gave me a whole new appreciation for the city’s beauty. Of course, no trip would be complete without exploring the famous Red Light District. It’s vibrant, lively, and full of history—definitely an experience that adds to the uniqueness of Amsterdam. What really made the trip special, though, was the people. Everyone I encountered was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made celebrating my birthday there even more memorable. I had a lot of fun here, enjoyed my african dishes. The only issues i had here was about the place i rented to stay which was very far from the city center. However it is very safe in this country i could walk around 1am home with no risks of getting attacked

Great Stay at Novotel Hoofddorp I had a fantastic stay at Novotel Hoofddorp. The hotel is modern and clean, with great facilities like a gym, dining area, and rooms equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, and kettle. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The hotel was 10 minutes away from Schiphol Airport, where we landed. There are countless Buses that travel from Schiphol Airport directly to Novotel Hotel. Highly recommend if you're visiting the area!
