Zejmarská roklina, located in Slovak Paradise National Park. The trail marker on the rock, a red cross on a white background, indicates a hiking route.
Zejmarská roklina is the shortest gorge in the Slovak Paradise National Park, but it features waterfalls, ladders, and footbridges. The gorge is accessible all year round, although in winter, the ladders may be covered in ice, and hikers are advised to bring crampons. The hiking trail through the gorge is a one-way, uphill path that takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to complete and is considered to be of easy to medium difficulty, making it suitable for families with children. After hiking the gorge, the trail leads to the Geravy plain, a karst plateau with a hotel and restaurant.

Slovak paradise narional park in eastern Slovakia is known for its rugged terrain, picturesque gorges, and thrilling adventure hikes involving ladders and chains. The park's landscape was formed by the Hornád River carving a canyon-like valley through what was once a flat limestone plateau. The park's defining feature is its system of deep, narrow canyons with marked trails equipped with fixed metal ladders, wooden steps, and chains. The one-way trails, traversed against the flow of the stream, lead hikers past stunning waterfalls and rock formations.
