The official name of "Wine Town" is "Ikeda Town Grape and Wine Research Institute". Due to its resemblance to medieval European castles, it is called the "Wine Castle" by many.
☆・In the aging room on the first basement floor, you can see a lot of French oak barrels where the aged wines are quietly sleeping. You can also see some vintage wines that have been aged in barrels, bottles, and shipped. Experience the temperature, humidity and natural mold that clings to the cork as the bottle ages.
☆・The exhibition on the second floor allows you to deepen your understanding of Tokachi wine, such as wine production methods and grape cultivation. This will be a space where you can experience Tokachi wine, including things you have never seen before, such as panels that tell the history and history of winemaking in Ikeda Town.
☆・The first floor is a shopping area where you can buy Tokachi wine and other Ikeda-cho specialties, and the fourth floor is a restaurant full of fun wine castles.
☆・From here you can see the beautiful scenery of Tokachi Plain, the Ribetsu River flowing through Ikeda Town, and the ridgeline of the majestic Hidaka Mountains. The wind was particularly strong on the day we arrived, but the weather was very good, and the temperature was just right for taking photos.

The moment
The moment I set foot on the pristine land of Hokkaido, I felt a profound sense of relaxation. This trip had specifically included a visit to a renowned Hokkaido winery nestled amidst lush green hills, creating a picturesque setting. The winery exuded a rich European ambiance, the air intoxicated by the aroma of grapes and the scent of oak barrels. I took a guided tour to learn about the winemaking process and sampled the local white wine, which was refreshing and lingering, making it one of the most unforgettable experiences of the trip. Sitting on the winery's terrace, gazing at the vast vineyards while sipping a glass, I felt a profound sense of peace. This trip to Hokkaido not only allowed me to slow down my pace but also allowed me to rediscover the beauty of life and the exquisiteness of taste.

Hokkaido Travel🥳Tokachi Wine Studio🍷A great place to taste red wine and ice cream🍦
✨️ Tokachi Ikeda Wine City is a red wine factory with several floors. The basement is the underground maturation room for wine. There are many wooden barrels stored in a row, and there is also a very fragrant wine flavor. I also saw a lot of red wines of different vintages locked in the shelves in storage or brewing, seeing from 1970-1980 as well, which really took a long time.
✨️ Red wine is sold in the factory, you can buy a glass at the restaurant in the factory, and then enjoy the very beautiful scenery.
💯 Tour guide introduced here milk vanilla ice cream is also very popular with the public, so we buy buy bought two cups to eat, a cup of milk vanilla flavored tube. Another grape flavored cup, you can request to add a little whiskey sprayed on the ice cream for free, it tastes a little alcoholic and quite special, really have never tried to eat like this 🍦
🥳 Finally, if you like drinking drinks, you can choose your own in their store, the cost is not too expensive, it is worth going to drink and try 👍

Ikeda Wine Castle is a tourist spot in Ikeda Town, Hokkaido, where you can enjoy locally produced wine.
Founded in 1974, there is a factory where you can observe the wine-making process, a space for tasting, and a restaurant.
There are vast vineyards surrounding the castle, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. In addition, local specialties are sold at the castle, making it a great place to choose souvenirs.
On this day, we participated in a free tour of the castle.
It was very interesting to be able to see the manufacturing process while listening to the explanation.

This is the number one attraction in Ikeda-cho, a wine castle modeled after the medieval castles of Europe.
Japanese wine production is around 100,000 tons per year, and its output ranks 28th in the world. The most famous of the major wine producing regions are Yamanashi Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture in Honshu and Hokkaido across the sea.
I have encountered such a good wine and really want to be drunk without a thousand cups.
